Following Transportation and Public Works committee’s unanimously recommendation I epect the full the Council to approve adoption the proposed Zero Waste Plan at its meeting on December 8.
This Steering Committee will work with and support the Community Advisory Committee and draft a Racial Equity Action Plan to address racial equity in the City government that will be submitted to the Council for approval by June 2018.
The Second Ward occupies the Eastern-Central part of Minneapolis and straddles the East and West banks of the iconic Mississippi River gorge.

The City Council has approved a new Participatory Budgeting (PB) Playbook.
The Playbook will be used for Council approved budget allocations that are specific in scope that would benefit from additional public input.
Starting January 2018 Cam's Community Office Hours in the Ward will be on Mondays from -am following this pattern: First Mondays at the Birchwood Café, 3311 E 25th St; Second Mondays at Black: Coffee and Waffles, 1500 Como Ave SE; Third Mondays at t-Rex Cookie Café, 3338 University Ave SE; and Fourth Mondays at the East Lake Library, 2727 E Lake St.
